Our program is tailored to encourage a harmonious balance between healthy competition and supportive teamwork. This approach allows each young player to not only improve their basketball skills but also to grasp the fundamental principles of team dynamics and cooperation, which are especially crucial at this formative age.
The team will be comprised of 12 players. Tryouts will be held should there be more than 12 applicants.
Throughout the season, the team will practice for 90-minutes twice a week and compete in 4-5 tournaments across various locations in southern Alberta, including Calgary, Lethbridge, and Okotoks. These events, primarily scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays from early May to mid-June, are not just about winning games; they’re about building character, discipline, and a deep understanding of the game. This rigorous schedule provides our athletes with invaluable experiences, preparing them for higher levels of competition and instilling lifelong lessons in sportsmanship and resilience.
